about

“idio-“=”own”. “graph”=”writing”.

korey miller was born in minneapolis in 1995. since the age of two, this writer has been devouring words and regurgitating them in a form unique to korey alone. much of korey’s published work is poetry, but korey also writes music, articles, flash fiction, vignettes, and short stories, and is in the middle of writing two novels- one a punk rock novel, and the other a horror-fantasy about mental illness and the afterlife.

korey enjoys writing aggressively deviant literature, to give a voice to subcultures underrepresented in fiction. weaving illusory fantasy together with suspenseful reality, allowing visionary theme to tease one’s head up towards the clouds, is what korey does best. in idiography the reader will find cranial entertainments rooted in topics ranging from alternative music to city life to quixotic voyages to hallucinatory image, exploring ideas from the visceral to the ethereal, from the concrete to the conjectural, and everywhere in between.
